Scales & Ales returns as one of the highlights of New Orleans’ fall social season to support wildlife conservation while enjoying the magic of Audubon Aquarium and Audubon Insectarium after dark! 2023 marks the 11th Scales & Ales event—the first to be celebrated in the Aquarium’s imaginatively transformed space.
This event is 21 & older and the dress code is dressy-casual. General Admission starts at 8 PM. Patron/Sponsor admissions starts at 7 PM. Tickets are on sale now!

A. The dress code for the evening is dressy-casual. Think business attire or date-night attire! Men can wear slacks, dress pants, button-ups, polos, etc. Jackets and ties are optional.
- Women can wear cocktail dresses, “corporate-chic” looks, etc. Jeans or shorts are not appropriate dress for the event.
A. You may purchase either a General Admission ticket or a Patron ticket for Scales & Ales 2023.
A. Scales & Ales is a fundraising event featuring delectable cuisine, beer and wine, specialty cocktails, and live music at Audubon’s state-of-the-art downtown facility. A General Admission ticket for Scales & Ales allows you entrance at 8PM and access to bites and beverages from dozens of New Orleans’ favorite restaurants. Your ticket also gives you access to explore the re-imagined Audubon Aquarium and Audubon Insectarium.
A. A Patron ticket includes everything a General Admission ticket offers, plus exclusive food, entertainment, and open bars serving spirits from Sazerac Company! Sponsors and patrons have early entry to the party at 7PM, as well as access to multiple VIP spaces that include exclusive food, beverages, and entertainment.
